Thoughts on the Masters

Well, one more Masters is complete and we have a new Champion. Even though this was not the most exciting finish, it is still the greatest golf tournament each year. I am not going to talk about the weather, and course conditions, for that you can watch the Golf Channel.  What I would like to discuss is the television coverage. When did everything change so that all they can show is the leaders. One of the great things about the Masters used to be how much golf they would show. Now, if you are two shots off the lead they never show your face, unless you're Tiger. I wish they would stop making the decisions on what we want to see, show it all.

I couldn't agree more with your comments Bris. I'd also like to see a little less of the history lessons. It's great to learn more about those "magic Masters moments", but couldn't they keep this for the pre-show? I think they've gotten to the kind of coverage that isn't aimed at the viewer, but at what the mighty dollar will sell. How about posting the email info for CBS...let's all tell them what we think!
